AN EGG'S AN EGG,
right?
HIGHER IN
NUTRITION
The typical nutritional values listed on our egg boxes tell only part of the story. These girls are not typical hens living typical lives. Our birds are regularly rotated through the orchard, where we’ve sown a diverse pasture of wildflowers, herbs, and legumes. Here, they forage freely on plants, worms, and insects just as nature intended. This natural, varied diet doesn’t just make for happier hens; it also makes for more nutritious eggs. Scientific studies have shown that eggs from pasture-raised hens contain significantly higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A and E, and antioxidants compared to conventional eggs (Karsten et al., 2010; Sergin et al., 2022).

ORCHARD
DORSET
ROOTS
Nestled on a hillside above the market town of Sherborne, the orchards at Little Burton Farm are part of Dorset’s living history — marked clearly on the very first published maps of 1886, and still thriving today. Our eggs are truly local and delivered fresh from the orchard where “the girls” are happy, healthy, and living as nature intended. By choosing these eggs, you’re supporting small-scale, regenerative farming that protects the land, cares for the animals, and offers real food in place of industrially-produced alternatives.
thank you .
